As part of the Infrastructure & Network Services team, you'll be contributing to the provision, maintenance, and security of core ICT infrastructure—including email, file storage, networking, remote access, and cloud‑hosted environments.
Your new role
As the Network & Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle management of infrastructure systems and provide high‑level (2nd & 3rd level) technical support across server, storage, cloud, and network environments.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing lifecycle processes—including design, build, maintenance, and retirement—of core infrastructure systems.
* Acting as the technical escalation point for complex incidents and problems.
* Maintaining secure, reliable server and storage infrastructure, including patching, upgrades, and capacity management.
* Supporting infrastructure across on‑prem and cloud platforms.
* Ensuring all systems meet security standards through effective monitoring, auditing, and testing.
* Preparing and maintaining technical documentation, build guides, and operational processes.
* Delivering technical input into projects and managing changes into test and production environments.
* Providing after‑hours and on‑call support as required.
* Working collaboratively with application teams in a DevOps‑aligned model.
What you'll need to succeed:
* Tertiary qualifications in IT and/or industry certifications (Microsoft, VMware, AWS, Cisco, etc.).
* Experience working in a technical infrastructure support environment with strong troubleshooting skills.
* Must have experience in M365 Administration, Active Directory/Entra ID, VMware admin, Programming/Scripting, and CCNA.
* Experience producing high‑quality technical documentation.
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non‑technical audiences.
* Commitment to ITIL practices and service excellence.
* Experience on AWS and Linux admin would be nice to have.
