The role
As Financial Controller, you will oversee financial accounting transactions, ensuring accurate reporting and strong internal controls and financial governance. You will leverage your experience to drive continuous improvement, support strategic decision-making, and lead a small but high-performing finance team.
Your day to day will include
Managing and overseeing financial functions including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll
Designing and producing reports to support business decision-making and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting
Acting as the technical accounting expert to advise leadership on financial insights and trends
Staying up to date with accounting standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring full compliance
Continuously improving finance processes to create efficiency and effectiveness across the business
Monitoring expenditure and managing cash flow
Maintaining a robust internal control framework
Contributing to finance strategy, culture, and business planning initiatives
Managing, mentoring, and developing direct reports to ensure high performance, technical expertise, and effective teamwork
What you will bring to the role
Experience in financial management roles
Accounting qualification (CA or CPA)
Strong analytical capability
Proven leadership experience
Exceptional organisation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work autonomously
Strong attention to detail and logical approach to problem-solving
A focus on continuous improvement and safety compliance
Ability to build and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
