The Role:
We are looking for an experienced Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to manage a team of analysts and support with Group reporting, commercial and financial analysis and the coordination and consolidation of budgets for our network of stores across Australia and New Zealand.
Reporting to the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis, you will work alongside various stakeholders of our 4 business units in order to provide meaningful insight into business performance and to accurately forecast the financial results.
What You'll Do:
Preparing and presenting financial performance results
Preparing and presenting the bi-annual forecast, annual budget and 3-year plan
Preparing financial reviews with Category Managers, Regional Managers and the Executive Team to analyse and review monthly performance
Reporting & providing accompanying commentary
Preparing ad hoc analysis to identify opportunities for improvement
Participating in cross-functional teams on strategic projects
Preparing reports, presentations and analysis for submission to senior leadership teams and Corporate Head Office (Paris)
Ad hoc projects as required
Mentoring, coaching and managing team of financial analysts
Qualifications and Experience:
Tertiary Qualifications in an Accounting/Business or related degree
At least three years' experience in a similar role
Proven analytical skills with sound commercial acumen
Demonstrated leadership qualities
Solid experience within the retail sphere
Confident communicator at all levels, with the ability to clarify financial results to a non-financial audience
Computer literacy using MS Office, in particular Excel at an advanced level
Knowledge of TM1/Cognos, Power BI and Magnitude will be highly regarded
