Join Us as a Dental Assistant & Receptionist at Our Brand-New Geelong Clinic
We're opening a modern, patient-focused dental clinic in Geelong and are seeking a versatile Dental Assistant & Receptionist to be a key part of our launch team.
This is a unique opportunity to help shape our new environment and contribute to building a positive, collaborative team culture from the ground up.
You will not be alone in this journey, our clinic owner also operates a successful, established dental practice in another part of Geelong.
You'll have strong support, ongoing training, and guidance to ensure a smooth transition and set you up for success as we grow together.
Key Responsibilities
Providing exceptional patient care as a dental assistant during treatments
Managing front desk duties: answering phones, emails, scheduling appointments, and coordinating patient enquiries
Handling patient records, treatment notes, and clinic documentation
Assisting with payments, HICAPS, Medicare claims, and account reconciliation
Maintaining infection control, sterilisation, and stock management systems
Supporting, mentoring, and training new team members
Playing a central role in establishing and nurturing a positive, collaborative team culture
About You
At least 2 years' experience as a dental assistant preferred
Dental assisting qualification or equivalent essential
Experience in a busy dental clinic, with strong organisational and multitasking skills
Confident, enthusiastic, and proactive about team building
Eager to make a real impact at an exciting new clinic
Comfortable working in both clinical and administrative roles
You'll receive full support, training, and the benefit of established systems to help you transition smoothly into this role.
The position is full-time; working days and hours can be discussed further.
