Status: Part Time and Casual position available
Department: Microbiology
About The Role:
* Culture setup for microbiology sterile sites, swab, genital, urine and faeces samples
* Setup of susceptibility testing
* Performing manual microscopy techniques and utilising microbiology automation
* Shifts will be rostered Monday - Friday and may include some weekend work
About You:
Proficient, motivated and highly organised with great attention to detail
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
The ability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive team
The ability to work under pressure in a busy environment
Ability to undertake training and direction to retain and build on knowledge base
Good availability to cover a variety of shifts
Previous microbiology laboratory experience will be considered an advantage
