**Job Description**:
- Weatherzone is Australia's largest private weather service, reaching one in five Australians each month with weather forecasts, news and insights. In addition to its consumer services, Weatherzone provides decision support solutions to business, corporate and government clients across 15 industries including energy, travel, insurance, events, agriculture, retail and mining.
In 2019, Weatherzone was acquired by DTN Group, the world's largest privately owned weather information business. At the same, Weatherzone in-sourced direct media sales capability, ending a decades-long sales partnership with Nine/Fairfax.- Executing the sales strategy, as set out by the Head of Media Sales-
- Driving revenue growth across app and web properties-
- Sourcing, developing and maintaining a book of business with agencies and clients-
- Booking high impact and display campaigns-
- Liaising with the operations team to build and execute the best digital campaigns possible.-
- Refining sales decks, and collating sales reports-
- Representing Weatherzone within the media landscape, in partnership with Head of Media Sales-
- Working with senior leadership team to hone media sales strategy and identify business growth opportunities across Weatherzone's consumer advertising businesses.Required Skills & Experience:
- At least two years selling direct campaigns to media agencies in Australia (programmatic skills an advantage, but not essential)- Existing trading relationships within top-tier Australian media agencies-
- Track record in hitting, and exceeding sales targets-
- Thorough understanding of the digital advertising landscape.-
- Passion for and fascination with digital advertising trends and technology.-
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office products, particularly PowerPoint and Excel-
- Autonomous self-starter with entrepreneurial spirit.-
- Excellent presentation, communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal-
