Site Metal Flow Manager Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide meaningful business context to employees to enable them to understand their role accountabilities and contribute to the delivery of the Site Metal Flow Drumbeat safely to plan.
* Effectively manage the Site Metal Flow protocol and continuously monitor crucible location and status of work cycle.
* Have the authority to call a stop to tapping and communicate reasons and duration to Reduction and Ingot Mill Supervisors.
* Continuously monitor crucible condition, including functionality, cleanliness, and liaise with Crucible Cleaning team for augering and repairs as necessary.
* Measure and report on agreed KPIs/Site Metal Flow Drumbeat metrics.
* Capture all issues and concerns impacting Site Metal Flow Drumbeat and document for review at daily meetings.
* Provide input into Site Metal Flow logistics strategies, budgets, and plans, as well as improve workflow processes.
Requirements:
* Strong understanding of metal flow processes, crucible operations, and industrial protocols preferred.
* Proven ability to uphold and enforce safety standards in high-risk environments.
* Ability to monitor, measure, and report on KPIs and operational metrics with attention to detail.
* Confidence to make critical operational decisions, including halting processes when required.
* Skilled in identifying issues, documenting concerns, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
* Effective communicator who can liaise with multiple teams, including Reduction, Ingot Mill, and Crucible Cleaning.
* Experience contributing to logistics strategies, budgets, and workflow optimization.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond quickly to operational changes.
