We are looking for a passionate and experienced Head Pastry Chef to lead pastry operations in a busy, quality-driven café bakery.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys both production and team management in a fast-paced breakfast service environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee daily pastry production and ensure consistent quality control
* Supervise, train, and support a team of 3 pastry staff
* Organise mise en place and workflow to meet service requirements
* Manage and oversee breakfast service, ensuring smooth and efficient operations
* Maintain food safety, hygiene, and kitchen standards
* Monitor stock, minimise waste, and support cost control
* Contribute to product improvement and operational efficiency
About You
* Proven experience as a Head Pastry Chef or Senior Pastry Chef in a café, bakery, or similar environment
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Highly organised, efficient, and hands-on
* Comfortable working early mornings and busy services
* Quality-focused with a practical, production-driven mindset
