Benefits: Part-time role (3 days per week) Central location, easily accessible by public transport Bright, contemporary offices with floor-to-ceiling windows offering city views About the Role: The Bookkeeper will be responsible for accurate and timely processing of payroll, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general financial administration. This role supports maintaining financial data integrity, compliance with statutory obligations, and assists the finance team during month-end and year-end processes. Key Duties: Process monthly end-to-end payroll including new hires, terminations, leave, superannuation, and Single Touch Payroll (STP) reporting Ensure payroll compliance with awards, legislation, tax (PAYG), super, and respond to employee queries Manage accounts payable: invoice processing, payment scheduling, reconciliations, and vendor records Handle accounts receivable: issuing invoices, tracking payments, reconciling accounts, and resolving billing issues Perform bank and general ledger reconciliations, including credit cards, reimbursements, and journal entries Support month-end and year-end close activities with accurate coding and documentation Skills & Experience: Minimum 3 years’ bookkeeping experience with proficiency in payroll and accounting software (Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks) Strong knowledge of Australian taxation and payroll legislation High attention to detail and accuracy with excellent organisational and time management skills Effective written and verbal communication abilities Ability to manage confidential information with integrity and discretion How to Apply Click APPLY or email your resume to: brookrecruitment.com.au For a confidential conversation, please call Katherine on 0433 801
