Health Recovery Facilitator Role
This position is part of the Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network (JHFMHN) team, working in a high-secure forensic mental health facility.
The ideal candidate will have a Certificate IV in Peer Work or a relevant health-related qualification and experience.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting consumers in their recovery journey by sharing personal lived experience with mental health services.
* Providing education on mental health and recovery principles to patients and staff.
* Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate effective participation in individual treatment and recovery.
The successful candidate will be passionate about delivering healthcare with the greatest impact, have strong professional connections with colleagues, and make a positive contribution to vulnerable people's lives.
