Key responsibilities include leading operational decisions, conducting thorough risk assessments, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and championing a safety-first mindset throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operational Decision Making: Utilize the Safety/Quality/Productivity framework to inform and drive strategic decisions.
* Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop targeted mitigation strategies.
* Safety Team Collaboration: Work closely with safety teams to embed proactive safety measures and promote a culture of accountability.
* Culture Champion: Engage and motivate teams to prioritize safety, recognizing and rewarding outstanding safety performance.
* System Improvement: Develop and implement effective safety systems and processes, monitoring and enhancing their efficiency over time.
* Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze safety performance metrics to inform data-driven decision making.
