About Us:
AtAvenues Parkinson we offer more than just education – we offer children the chance to explore, grow, and connect with the world around them in a way that is real, respectful, and rooted in sustainability. We are 200-place service educating children from 6 weeks to 6 years, across 10 rooms.
Our natural outdoor spaces are an extension of our classrooms. Children learn through gardening, exploring, and engaging with the environment around them. We foster deep connections with our environments by involving children's learning in composting, water conservation, recycling, and caring for our vegetable and bush tucker gardens. They experience the full cycle of growing, harvesting, and tasting fresh produce.
Our friendly centre chickens are a beloved part of the community. Children learn empathy, responsibility, and the importance of caring for living animals.
We embrace child-led, open-ended play that encourages problem-solving, creativity, resilience, and confidence.
If our Centre resonates with your pedagogical practices, we would love to hear from you.
Avenues Parkinson requires qualified educators to join the Parkinson family. The successful applicant/s will need to be able to adapt to change, be flexible, and learn each room routine, all while developing bonds with the children, families and educators of the service.
