**About The Role**
Opportunity for an entry level Cyber Security Specialist to work on a wide range of reporting, compliance, and security governance within Macquarie Government. This role will suit an early-stage professional who has gained some technical experience within Cyber Security and willing to learn and support the governance and advisory teams in governance activities.
**Further to this, you will**
- Assist in the development and implementation of the Macquarie Government Operations information security policies, procedures and site management plans, based upon a regular review of the security risks, to ensure compliance with relevant Australian and international security standards;
- Maintain security documentation, Processes, and procedures
- Review security measures to protect Macquarie Government systems with a consistent and total approach to security;
- Assist in the monitor and report on the Macquarie Government Security Compliance program's.
- Ensure regular security awareness training is provided to staff and internal and external clients. Provide training to managers who have direct accountability for information security and resources on procedural aspects of information security;
- Assist in the management of Government security clearances.
- Assist in the development of reports on information security audit and compliance plans; manage the Internal Audit requirements for the Information Security Management System;
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the hosting operations Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans and procedures.
- Participate in internal and external audit program.
