$89,934 – $116,969 per annum plus superannuation and annual leave loading.

Working for the Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) involves partnering with families and communities to build strengths, address safety and wellbeing, and create lasting change.
What you'll do
* Work sensitively and respectfully with parents, family members, children and young people.
* Partner with other agencies and engage in complex problem solving.
* Walk alongside families to set goals that build on strengths, address safety and wellbeing concerns, and provide assistance through home visits.
* Develop safety plans and complete risk assessments.
* Manage cases and situations including high‐needs and high‐risk clients.
* Participate in court processes, including preparation of court documents and attending court.
* Participate in individual and group supervision.
* Engage in Aboriginal cultural supervision.
Qualifications and experience
* Relevant diploma or degree preferred.
* Those without a relevant qualification must have at least two years' experience working with vulnerable children, young people and their families.
* Ability to build positive working relationships with the Aboriginal community and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Valid driver's licence.
* Paid working‐with‐children clearance number.
* Documented verification of Aboriginality – confirming Aboriginal descent and self‐identification as Aboriginal.
