As part of our talented kitchen brigade at Sola Bar & Restaurant, you will help deliver vibrant Mediterranean-inspired dishes in a relaxed coastal setting. From restaurant service to large conferences and events, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills, work with quality produce and create memorable dining experiences for guests visiting for holidays, celebrations and major events.

Responsibilities
* Prepare high-quality dishes across a variety of kitchen sections, including a la carte, buffet, larder, mise-en-place, room service and banquets
* Collaborate on menu development, bringing fresh ideas that elevate the guest dining experience
* Lead and mentor junior staff, providing guidance, training and support to help them grow
* Apply diverse cooking techniques to consistently deliver exceptional dishes
* Maintain a clean, organized and compliant kitchen that meets all food safety standards
* Foster open communication and teamwork to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Qualifications
* Trade qualifications and previous experience in the hotel or hospitality industry (preferred)
* Strong a la carte experience with a proven ability to deliver high-quality dishes
* Thorough understanding of food safety standards and best practices
* A service-focused mindset with excellent attention to detail
* Outstanding time management skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
* Flexibility and adaptability, thriving in a dynamic and ever-changing kitchen environment
