We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced finance professional to lead our financial operations team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of all financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and support Accounts Payable and Receivable teams, ensuring timely and accurate processing
* Oversee daily cash flow and manage letters of credit and trade loans
* Maintain strong internal controls and confidentiality with financial information
* Collaborate with business units to resolve queries and improve finance processes
* Provide financial insights and reporting to senior leaders
* Assist with audit requirements, recommendations, and implementation
* Manage cash flow projections and prepare reconciliations for international accounts
* Actively contribute to finance system improvements and digital transformation projects
* Handle international payments and ensure smooth banking processes
* Lead debtor collections and manage relationships with collection agencies where required
Requirements:
* A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (Bachelor level or higher)
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar finance team leadership role
* Strong experience in AR/AP operations and high-volume reconciliation
* Sound knowledge of GST, FBT, and financial reporting requirements
* Proven success in leading teams and improving finance processes
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* High attention to detail with the ability to work accurately and under pressure
* Experience using Microsoft Suite, with knowledge of NetSuite or Pronto (advantageous)
