About the Role
As a Career Development Advisor, you foster sustainable employment matches by connecting people with intellectual disability to local job opportunities. You combine case management with proactive employer engagement to create lasting benefits for both individuals and businesses.
Key Responsibilities
* Establish relationships with local employers through networking, business development, and strategic partnerships.
* Work closely with participants to understand their goals, address barriers, and develop tailored employment pathways.
* Match participants to suitable roles and provide ongoing support throughout recruitment, placement, and post-placement care.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation aligned with organisational standards.
* Meet performance targets related to placements, customer satisfaction, and business development.
About You
* Experience in employment services, recruitment, training, or community services.
* Proven success in sales-driven environments.
* Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills.
* Understanding of employer needs and local labour market dynamics.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a dispersed team.
* Experience working with individuals with intellectual disability or other support needs.
