What does a Chemical engineer in Water do?
You will be in the Treatment Team and have the opportunity to work with water, wastewater, biosolids and odour treatment. You will have office days but also be out on site and be involved in the following activities:
* Investigate and analyse process engineering elements to support engineering projects such as treatment plants, water management and sewage systems.
* Support high-performing teams in details design and reviews.
* Perform basic calculations to analyse, model and design process system components.
* Assist in preparing process designs, drawings, specifications, presentations, and reports.
* Work with other engineering disciplines and professionals in finding solutions and coordination of the project.
* Assist the team in providing support services during construction that can include submittal reviews, responses to requests for information and contract document clarifications.
About You
* Chemical Engineering degree
* Passion for learning and problem-solving
* Permanent resident or Australian/NZ citizen
* Currently in the final year of a degree or 1-2 years of experience
