The Opportunity:
An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Practice Coordinator to take ownership of patient coordination and the day-to-day administrative management of a busy medical practice.
Working closely with the Practitioner, you will manage appointment scheduling, maintain accurate patient records, coordinate financial administration and support reporting requirements. The role also includes dictaphone transcription of clinical correspondence and reports, requiring strong listening skills, accuracy and attention to detail.
This position requires initiative, sound judgement and the ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment. You will play a key role in ensuring the practice operates efficiently, patients feel supported and administrative systems are maintained to a high standard.
Your Skills & Experience:
* Previous experience in medical administration or practice coordination
* High typing speed with strong accuracy is essential
* Experience with dictaphone transcription and preparation of clinical correspondence
* Strong diary management and patient booking experience
* Ability to maintain accurate records and manage confidential information with discretion
* Experience supporting billing, invoicing, banking and general financial administration
* Excellent interpersonal skills with a caring and professional patient approach
* Ability to work independently while contributing to a positive team culture
* Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
* Confidence using practice software and general office systems
