Opportunity
The Assistant Project Manager (APM) will support Project Managers and Design Managers with project management tasks, delivery control, project audits, overall quality control, and tender submissions.
The APM will work on a variety of impressive Defence and nuclear related projects and be mentored by industry specialists.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate proposal development activities with Sales and admin support staff.
Prepare operational and market sector internal governance reporting.
Support internal governance requirements for proposals and projects.
Coordinate market sector business development activities.
Plan, coordinate and support the conduct of internal and project workshops and other engagements.
Assist the entire team with administrative duties, including timesheets, travel, accommodation, functions, catering, etc.
Assist Project Managers & Design Managers with monitoring the project scope, reviewing design documents and amending them to meet the client's brief, budget etc.
Who are you?
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years post-graduate project management experience working with/for the Department of Defence.
Tertiary qualifications in a related field (project management, construction management, engineering, architecture) are preferred.
The candidate should want to develop skills and build a long-term career with KBR's Defence business.
