We are seeking drills fitters for underground and surface drill fleets. This role includes a mix of Perth-based workshop work (NOR) and site-based FIFO work, providing variety across different drilling environments and equipment types. You will play a key role in maintaining equipment availability and safety through high-quality maintenance, diagnostics, and repair work on drill rigs used in underground and open pit operations. Key Responsibilities Maintenance, servicing, and repair of underground and surface drill rigs Workshop-based rebuilds, overhauls, and component change-outs Site-based preventative maintenance and breakdown support Hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical fault finding Working to OEM specifications and site maintenance standards Accurate completion of maintenance documentation and reports Compliance with all site safety systems, procedures, and JHAs Collaboration with supervisors, planners, and operators Equipment Experience (desirable) Underground: Jumbo, long hole, production and support drills Sandvik, Epiroc, Caterpillar or similar Surface: Rotary, DTH, and blast hole drills Sandvik, Epiroc, Atlas Copco or similar Skills & Experience Trade qualification: Diesel Fitter / Heavy Duty Fitter Proven experience on underground and/or surface drill equipment Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills Ability to work autonomously in workshop and FIFO site environments Solid understanding of mining maintenance and safety systems Tickets & Requirements Australian Recognised Trade Certificate Valid Australian Driver’s Licence Ability to pass pre-employment medical and D&A screening National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain) Full working rights in Australia Contact sararuddy@mmfs.com.au Call 0483 001 620
