Are you looking for a career in the meat industry? As a butcher or apprentice butcher, you will be responsible for all aspects of general retail butchering. This includes slicing, dicing, band-saw work, catering, portion-cutting, mixing/mincing, boning, order preparation, sausage making, and window preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Slicing and dicing meat to customer specifications
* Performing band-saw work with precision and accuracy
* Catering to customers' needs by preparing portions of meat
* Mixing and mincing meat for various products
* Boning and portion-cutting meat to meet customer requirements
* Preparing orders for delivery and ensuring timely completion
Requirements:
* Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues
* Able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals
