Junior Administration Assistant role at Results Legal offers part-time experience supporting a commercial law firm with a focus on legal career development.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
* Acting as the first point of contact for visitors and incoming calls, providing a professional and welcoming front of house experience
* Managing daily administrative functions including mail, reception, meeting preparation and set up, and general office tidiness
* Coordinating office equipment and supply orders, archiving, and filing
* Assisting with the planning and preparation of firm and client events (e.g. EOFY, Melbourne Cup, Christmas Function)
* Supporting the Office Coordinator and Chief of Staff with delegated administrative tasks and ad hoc project work
* Managing the info@ mailbox and liaising with suppliers as required
* Providing proactive support to ensure smooth business operations, including backup support to the Office Coordinator
* Assisting with onboarding and training of new staff in office systems and processes
About You
What you'll need:
* Current enrolment in a law degree (essential)
* Availability to work 3 days per week (ideally Thursday, Friday and Monday)
* Adaptability and ability to prioritise constantly changing and competing priorities
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A positive, proactive approach and willingness to assist others
* Competency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and other relevant software
* A genuine interest in pursuing a legal career
