About the Role:
This role offers the opportunity to join a multidisciplinary team consisting of researchers working on key semiconductor industry trends in communications and sensing. You will report directly to Professor Michael Boers, a renowned expert in the field, and have access to world-class facilities and technology.
The Silicon Platforms Lab is a newly formed research center with advanced silicon system-on-chip (SoC) / system-in-package (SiP) capabilities. Our focus is on integrating novel IP onto a silicon platform, and we partner closely with adjacent research teams across the Faculty of Science and Engineering.
Your Responsibilities:
* PhD in electromagnetics or related field
* Experience designing phased arrays and beamforming techniques
* Proven track record in research or industry setting
* Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with students, staff, and stakeholders
* Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
* Demonstrated capacity to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
