About the role
We are passionate about building software that solves big problems for our customers. The Droppoint Software Developers are responsible for software analysis, design, development, diagnosing, debugging, defect resolution, and implementation of all components associated with software applications while following and adhering to development standards and best practices in this fast-moving space.
We require someone who can solve problems and ask the right questions with an engineering mindset. At Droppoint, we don't work off pre-determined scripts, instead we need considered, proactive development.
What You'll Do
* Design and build new software features and applications within Droppoint's software solution suite
* Enhance, maintain, and configure existing software modules and system components
* Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code aligned with team standards
* Participate in sprint activities, including backlog refinement, estimation, and demos
* Identify technical inefficiencies or legacy components and contribute to ongoing improvements
* Support the broader development team through collaboration and peer review
* Participate in peer code review and continuous integration practices
* Comply with all established development workflows/ processes, coding practices, and quality standards
* Contribute to the technical realisation of the OTOB strategy
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the development workflow/ process
What You'll Need
Minimum 3 years professional industry experience in:
* An agile development team.
* .NET technologies, preferably .NET Core and .NET Web APIs.
* Azure Dev Ops.
* Knowledge and/or experience in cloud computing platforms such as Azure

The successful candidate will be available to work full time during the working week (Monday - Friday). Our office is located at the at the Innovation Campus in Wollongong – a hub of new technology.
