Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking qualified Diesel Fitters to join our team in the following roles:
* Qualified Diesel Fitter – Townsville Workshop Based
* Field Service Diesel Fitter – DIDO Mining 7/7
* Field Service Diesel Fitter – FIFO Mining 2/1 moving to 2/2 Roster

About the Roles
Workshop Diesel Fitter
Based in our workshop, this role involves servicing and repairing a variety of heavy vehicles and equipment.
Roster Options:
✔ 5 Days On / 2 Days Off
✔ 9 Day Fortnight
Key Responsibilities
* Perform maintenance and repairs on heavy vehicles, plant equipment and trucks
* Conduct safety inspections and preventative maintenance
* Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
* Recommend mechanical servicing or major repairs where required
* Maintain accurate job records and documentation
* Support apprentices and assist with workshop operations
FIFO / DIDO Field Service Diesel Fitter
Working across mining operations in Queensland, this role involves providing onsite diagnostics, maintenance and repairs to mining equipment.
Roster Options:
✔ 7 Days On / 7 Days Off
✔ 2 Weeks On / 1 Week Off
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct onsite installation, maintenance and repair of mining equipment
* Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
* Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
* Monitor equipment performance and identify improvement opportunities
* Maintain accurate maintenance and service records
* Work safely and comply with mine site procedures and safety standards
About You
To be successful in either role, you will have:
* Cert III Heavy Vehicle Mechanics (MEM or AUR)
* Experience working on heavy vehicles or mining equipment
* Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship

* Standard 11
* Coal Board Medical
