The Criteria: Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen, stock ordering, and menu development - incorporating seasonal fresh local produce.Have a passion for creating delicious, expertly prepared, cooked, and presented food.Keep an organized kitchen and uphold a food safety program to assist in maintaining the kitchen, food, and hygiene standards.Develop an in-depth understanding of the restaurant's concepts and menus.Leading by example in the back of houseMonitoring portion and waste controlOverseeing the maintenance of kitchen and food safety standards The Skills: Hold relevant qualificationsAt least a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience working in a high-volume kitchen.Demonstrate motivation, commitment, and attention to detailEffective communication skills with a growth mindset to continually learn and improve.Thrive in a high volume and high-pressure environment.Creative flair, passion, and strong knowledge of food productionHigh standards of cleanliness and hygieneWHS, Food Safety and HACCP knowledgePrevious experience in Gastro Pub style venue will be highly regarded.
