With a growing portfolio of utility-scale wind, solar, and battery projects, we’re looking for a proactive, results-focused professional to help power our next phase of growth About the Role: The Project Cost Controller will play a key role in managing and reporting on the financial performance of the project, covering both the capital expenditure (Capex) and operational expenditure (Opex) budgets—including resource costs and overheads. Working closely with the Head of Construction and Project Manager to track and forecast cash flow across all contractors and suppliers, and will be responsible for preparing clear and accurate monthly financial reports Responsibilities: Provide high-level administrative support in preparing project status reports, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy of all financial data. Assist with the implementation and continuous improvement of budget monitoring, adjustments, and reporting to ensure up-to-date financial accuracy. Monitor total project expenditure, assess invoices and claims, and manage the creation of Progress Claims, including invoicing and variations. Prepare monthly project reports (including safety, program updates, and cost control), and proactively advise management of potential cost overruns for timely corrective actions. Skills & Experience Qualification in Project Management Previous experience in a construction Project Controls Environment Experience in project cost control or financial management, ideally on large-scale infrastructure or energy projects. Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis. A proactive, detail-oriented approach and the confidence to work closely with technical and commercial teams.
