Making a difference in people's lives is at the heart of our Transitional Recovery Program. We're looking for self-motivated and empathetic professionals to join our team as Community Mental Health Practitioners.
About the Role
We're seeking individuals who are passionate about delivering recovery-oriented, person-centred care. As a Community Mental Health Practitioner, you will engage clients using motivational interviewing, brief interventions, trauma-informed care, and family-inclusive practices. You will also develop and facilitate group programs that build skills and support recovery goals, support families and carers through information, education, and referrals, collaborate with community services to ensure coordinated and integrated support, and contribute to the day-to-day operations of the service.

Required Skills and Qualifications
Our ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in Youth Work, Mental Health, Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or other health-related fields. They will also have experience working with people with mental health challenges and complex needs, including families and carers. A proven capability to implement therapeutic, recovery oriented frameworks and practices is essential, as is current First Aid and CPR certification.
