Job Title: Academic Leader in Social Work

The role of Academic Leader in Social Work is a pivotal position within the university's Faculty of Health Sciences. The successful candidate will lead curriculum development, coordinate subjects, teach, and support student learning in the field of social work.

* Develop and implement innovative curricula that integrate employability skills, promote student success, and meet accreditation requirements.
* Oversee student assessment processes, including preparation, validation, marking, and moderation of assessments.
* Deliver student-focused support, such as consultation and guidance, to foster positive learning outcomes and address individual learning needs.

* Postgraduate qualification, preferably a PhD or equivalent accreditation, recognized by the profession as appropriate for the social work discipline.
* Eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
* Demonstrated effectiveness in teaching, curriculum development, and subject coordination in face-to-face, blended, and online modes.
