Rose Nowers Early Learning Centre Inc (RNELC) is a respected, community-based early learning organisation in Port Hedland, Western Australia. We operate high-quality, inclusive early learning and development services with a strong focus on developmental outcomes, child safety, and family‐centred practice.
We are now seeking an experienced and values‐driven Chief Executive Officer to lead the organisation into its next phase of growth and sustainability.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Board, the CEO provides strategic and organisational leadership across all services, including:
* Rose Nowers Early Learning Centre
* Rose Nowers Child Development Centre (RNCDC)
* Child Care Links and associated programs
This is an executive leadership role focused on:
* Strategic plan delivery and organisational performance
* Financial sustainability and resource stewardship
* Governance assurance and regulatory oversight
* Workforce leadership and capability development
* Partnerships, funding and community engagement
* Growth and future service expansion opportunities
The CEO does not manage day‐to‐day centre operations. Service delivery and Nominated Supervisor responsibilities sit with Centre Directors. The CEO provides oversight, alignment, and executive support while focusing on strategy, funding, partnerships, and organisational resilience.

About You
You are a strategic and emotionally intelligent leader with experience in one or more of the following:
* Early childhood education or community services leadership
* Not‐for‐profit or community‐based governance environments
* Grant funding, stakeholder engagement and organisational growth
You bring:
* Strong governance and Board engagement capability
* Financial and strategic planning experience
* Experience managing risk and compliance in regulated environments
* A collaborative leadership style and ability to build high‐performing teams
* A commitment to child safety and inclusive practice
You hold a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care.
Experience in early childhood education is highly desirable, though senior leadership experience in aligned sectors will be considered.
