Warehouse Supervisor Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead the daily operations of our warehouse facility in Karratha, WA.
Job Description:
The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective execution of day-to-day activities of the warehouse and related distribution functions. This includes:
* Conducting daily pre-start meetings
* Assigning daily priorities based on business requirements
* Monitoring and supervising all warehouse activities and warehouse staff
* Overseeing warehouse receipts, deliveries and dispatches to ensure quality and quantity of commodities
* Verifying quality and count of commodities being received, collected and delivered from the Wabtec warehouse
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A high school diploma or equivalent
* Forklift Licence
* Some training and/or experience in Commodity or General Stock Management, Logistics, Financial Management, Accounting or equivalent would be preferred
* 5-10 years experience working in a warehouse environment
* Ability to work independently and proactively
* Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills
* Builds and maintains relationships with the warehouse team as well as other stakeholders
