About the opportunity Seeking a Clinical Site Director to join a growing team at a new clinical research site in Wollongong. The primary focus of this role is to ensure the efficient operation of all site activities in line with quality standards, regulations, and guidelines. You will oversee the Clinical Team, ensuring patient safety and the delivery of clinical study endpoints, while contributing to the site's growth and success. Duties Oversee all clinical and operational functions of the site, ensuring high standards in governance, safety, and GCP complianceEnsure the delivery of clinical studies meets client endpoints (quality standards, enrolment targets, timelines)Train staff on quality requirements and ensure compliance with protocolsFacilitate and represent the site at study-related meetingsRun regular site meetings and ensure reporting requirements are metAssist with participant recruitment efforts on-siteManage team rosters to optimize patient visitsFoster relationships with internal departments, local medical centers, sponsors, and hospitalsRepresent operations in internal discussions for study feasibilityContribute to business process improvements and the corporate strategy Skills and Experience Proven leadership experience in clinical research, hospital, or healthcare operationsStrong understanding of GCP, TGA, and HREC frameworks within early-phase clinical trialsDemonstrated ability to lead teams, manage complex projects, and drive business outcomesExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsAbility to maintain relationships with site managers, leadership teams, and external stakeholdersStrategic thinker with operational execution capabilities Culture Join a growing, high-achieving team focused on delivering top-quality clinical research while maintaining a respectful and supportive work environment.
