Account Manager
We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to build, manage, and grow a portfolio of valued banking partners. This role focuses on strengthening relationships, driving sustainable growth, and delivering a consistently high-quality partner experience.
As the primary point of contact, you will work closely with partners to understand their needs, identify opportunities, and ensure solutions are aligned to their business goals. You'll operate in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, using insights and data to guide decision-making and continuously improve outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with assigned partners
* Act as the main point of contact, ensuring partner needs are addressed effectively and in a timely manner
* Develop and execute account plans aligned with partner objectives and commercial targets
* Identify opportunities for revenue growth, including upselling and cross-selling
* Support contract renewals and negotiations to maintain strong, ongoing partnerships
* Monitor account performance and use data insights to inform strategy and recommendations
* Lead regular account check‐ins and reviews with partners and internal stakeholders
* Collaborate with sales, marketing, product, and operations teams to deliver a seamless experience
* Resolve issues proactively, ensuring positive outcomes for partners and the business
* Share feedback and insights to support continuous service and product improvement
Experience & Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, or related field (or equivalent experience)
* 3–6 years' experience in account management, relationship management, or similar roles
* Proven ability to grow and retain client or partner accounts
* Experience in insurance and/or banking is highly regarded
Skills & Capabilities
* Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
* Commercial mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Experience supporting contract discussions and renewals
* Ability to interpret performance data and translate insights into action
* Customer‐focused, proactive, and solutions‐oriented approach
* Familiarity with CRM systems and account management tools
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
* Collaborative approach, working effectively across teams
* Adaptable and comfortable with evolving tools, systems, and ways of working
