Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Property Litigation Lawyer located in Melbourne, VIC. The Property Litigation Lawyer will be responsible for handling a diverse range of property disputes, including advisory and disputes work. Day-to-day tasks include providing practical legal advice, conducting legal research, preparing and reviewing legal documents, representing clients in court, negotiating settlements and providing advice to clients. The role requires close communication with clients and collaboration with other legal professionals to ensure effective and efficient resolution of property-related legal issues.
You will be working in the Owners Corporations team and dealing with disputes in VCAT, County Court and Supreme Court in Owners Corporation, building defect, adverse possession, easements and general property disputes.
Experience level: 2+ years to senior associate level.
Qualifications
* Experience in Property Law, including advisory and litigation
* Strong skills in Litigation and dispute resolution
* Proficient in legal research, preparing, and reviewing legal documents
* Excellent negotiation and courtroom representation skills
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team and manage client relationships
* Bachelor's degree in Law and admission to practice as a solicitor in Victoria
