Transport Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Transport Administrator who can provide support within the Customer Service team of a large transport company. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, previous experience in 3PL customer service, and an ability to be flexible while completing ad hoc administrative duties.
This is a great opportunity for an administrative professional looking for long-term employment, who can roll with the punches and is highly organised when managing multiple tasks.
Responsibilities
Coordination improvement through scheduling
Scheduling FCL
Wharf Exception – Import
Wharf Acceptance – Export
Monitoring Customs and Bio-Security requirements
Monitor customer specific empties (trailers at customers)
Review ad hoc shipments and capture additional TPT/ additional shipment charging
Client systems – specific administration and data management (additional experience required)
Cross training on mirroring, wharf planning, allocation
Scheduling 3PL unpack (ad hoc requests + AQIS) – WFT, LITS monitoring drop downs and WMS
Generic PWS upload for FCL clients / AQIS accounts if required – occasional
CFS tally in and out – blind gate in and gate out FCL / LCL – container work order monitoring
Qualifications and Skills
Previous experience in 3PL customer service highly valued
High level of knowledge with all MS Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher
