Overview
We are currently seeking a Data Migration Consultant. This is an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects and deliver innovative solutions to our clients.
Base pay range
A$80,000.00/yr - A$180,000.00/yr
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in data migration projects, preferably in a consulting or professional services environment.
- Strong knowledge of data migration tools and techniques, including data mapping, data profiling, and data cleansing.
- Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools such as Informatica PowerCenter, Microsoft SSIS, or IBM DataStage.
- Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages for data manipulation and transformation.
- Understanding of data governance and data quality principles.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify data issues and provide effective solutions.
- Ability to work independently and in a team workplace, collaborating with stakeholders and technical teams.
- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with clients and present complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Experience with cloud platforms and data migration to/from cloud environments is a plus.
- Relevant certifications in data management or data migration are desired.
