Role Description
We're seeking an experienced Account Executive to drive growth across Public Sector customers, with a strong focus on Local Government and State Government agencies. This role suits a proven seller with established public‐sector relationships, strong networks, and credibility with CIOs, CX leaders, Digital / AI transformation leads, and senior decision‐makers, who thrives in solution‐led, Microsoft‐centric sales motions.
The role is aligned to the NSW and Queensland Government accounts, including local councils and state agencies. We'll shape the account book and go‐to‐market focus around your strengths, while providing exposure to adjacent segments as opportunities arise.
What you'll do
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities
* Leverage existing relationships to open doors and advance opportunities
* Own the full sales cycle, from outreach and discovery through to negotiation and deal closure
* Position CentrePal as a strategic replacement for legacy or fragmented contact centre platforms and AI CX automation solutions, addressing common CX challenges
* Work closely with Microsoft sellers, channel partners, and internal teams on co‐sell and marketplace‐led opportunities
* Navigate public‐sector procurement processes, including panels, tenders, and buying frameworks
* Coordinate a seamless handover to the delivery team to ensure a smooth transition from sale to implementation
* Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and deal progression in CRM
What you bring
* Proven experience selling B2B SaaS or enterprise platforms into Public Sector
* Established relationships within Local Government and/or State Government
* Strong engagement experience with CX leaders, CIOs, Digital / AI transformation leads and senior government stakeholders
* Ability to run value‐based, consultative sales cycles (not transactional selling)
* Comfort operating autonomously in a growth‐stage SaaS organisation
