About Headlands Distilling Co.
Headlands Distilling Co. is an independent Australian distillery crafting premium spirits with character, creativity and a strong sense of place. Our spirits are designed to be shared, enjoyed and remembered — and we’re building a community around great drinks and great hospitality.
The Role
We’re looking for a young, energetic and outgoing Brand Ambassador to be the face of Headlands on Friday and Saturday nights across venues, events and tastings.
As a Brand Ambassador, you will bring the Headlands brand to life in market. You’ll be the visible face and voice of our spirits — educating, inspiring and exciting consumers, venue staff and partners.
This is a hands-on, social, high-energy role perfect for someone who loves hospitality, enjoys talking to people, and wants to grow within the spirits industry.
You’ll be responsible for delivering tastings, brand activations and venue support — helping increase brand visibility, desirability and trial.
Key Responsibilities
* Represent Headlands Distilling Co. at on-premise venues (bars, restaurants) and retail tastings primarily on Friday and Saturday nights
* Build strong relationships with venue staff, bar managers and bottle shop teams
* Actively promote the brand story, product range and category knowledge
* Capture on-site content (photos, short clips) to support marketing and social media
* Collect customer and venue feedback to inform future initiatives
* Provide brief post-activation reports on activity and insights
* Support brand events, launches and promotional activations
About You
* Young, energetic and confident in social environments
* Well-presented with strong communication skills
* Comfortable approaching and engaging new people
* Commercially aware and confident representing a premium brand
* Organised, proactive and reliable
* Comfortable working late evenings, especially Fridays and Saturdays
Bonus if you have:
* Experience in hospitality, events or beverage sales
* Solid knowledge of spirits (gin, vodka, whisky, liqueurs)
* A strong local hospitality network
* Confidence using social media in a professional setting
Requirements
* RSA (Required)
* Australian work rights
* Australian Drivers Licence
* Availability primarily Friday and Saturday nights
* Access to transport (preferred)
What You’ll Gain
* Hands-on experience in the premium spirits industry
* Opportunity to work closely with founders and senior team
* Exposure to sales, marketing and brand strategy
* A pathway into brand, sales or marketing roles
* A fun, energetic and fast-growing company culture
