We are seeking a seasoned HR professional to lead our Human Resources function. This key role will support the Department Head in delivering strategic and operational objectives, driving crucial initiatives that enhance employee engagement, retention, and performance.
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on contributor and a strategic thinker with a broad range of responsibilities including:
* Developing and implementing HR strategies that align with our business objectives
* Sourcing and recruiting top talent, supporting the full recruitment life cycle from sourcing to onboarding
* Oversight of performance management frameworks and championing learning and development initiatives
* Providing expert advice on HR functions, ensuring employment practices are up-to-date and compliant with local regulations

Requirements
* Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline
* At least two years in a similar role, with 10+ years of overall HR experience
* Sound knowledge of Australian industrial, OH&S, EEO, and Anti-Discrimination legislation
* Leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders
