Overview
We are currently looking for a highly experienced and disciplined Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical & Avionics) to join our team in Melbourne, VIC. If you’re proactive, flexible and experienced, you’re the type of professional we’d like to welcome onboard.
Responsibilities
- Dismantling, inspecting, testing, repairing and reassembling aircraft engines, ancillary components, accessories, and electrical systems;
- Conducting routine pre-flight checks and inspections of engines and equipment;
- Maintaining thorough records of actions taken;
- Assembling components, parts and subassemblies of aircraft engines and equipment;
- Testing, maintaining, replacing, and upgrading aircraft safety equipment.
The essential requirements
- 3+ years experience on General Aviation aircraft;
- Trade Certificate IV (Mechanical or Avionics) & CASA or EASA Licenced;
- Highly skilled and competent in aircraft mechanical system troubleshooting, repair and installation of mechanical components;
- Strong team player;
- Ability to follow supervisory direction;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Consistent positive and proactive attitude;
- Passion for safe work practices;
- Red ASIC card (or ability to obtain);
- Current Australian Driver\'s licence; and
- Valid work visa
