Job Purpose
Daily floor supervision of sales teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences, drive sales goal attainment, and provide real-time coaching.
Responsibilities
1. Supervise sales associates to deliver high-value experiences, ensuring every interaction is memorable.
2. Partner with associates to improve selling skills, close sales, and achieve sales goals and KPIs.
3. Lead a high-performing team, coach, and provide feedback to ensure excellent service delivery.
4. Manage customer flow, set the pace, and standard for delivering exceptional service.
5. Drive partnership between sales associates, specialists, stock associates, and operations teams.
6. Coach associates on successes and opportunities, and ensure follow-through on actions.
7. Develop and retain talented employees through performance recognition and development plans.
8. Lead by example, delivering the Burberry Experience when necessary.
9. Partner with GM, SM, and S&P to take ownership of Burberry Experience training.
10. Partner with store management to set goal expectations and deliver performance feedback.
11. Resolve difficult customer issues and escalate to management when necessary.
12. In absence of store management, process post-void transactions, authorise promotional discounts, and employee sales.
13. Drive the digital experience in-store and use digital resources to communicate when face-to-face is not possible.
14. Hold a good understanding of the business and effectively communicate needs and ideas to drive business growth.
15. Possess a thorough understanding of company policies and procedures, consistently following and enforcing company guidelines.
16. Assist with opening and closing the store, securing doors, windows, and merchandise.
17. Additional duties as required.
Personal Profile
1. Advanced knowledge of POS systems.
2. Previous experience with Apple mobile devices and comfortable using digital tools.
3. 1-2 years' supervisory or management experience in retail sales.
Measures of Success
1. Monthly Burberry Experience evaluation score.
2. Managing performance improvement and development of associates.
3. Improvement in every KPI within the retail scorecard.
