Essential criteria
- Demonstrated experience in developing, and maintaining Service Now applications and integrations using best practices and standards. Holds a Service Now Certified System Administrator certification and holds one or more Service Now Mainline Certifications at an Implementation Specialist level in the following technology, customer or employee workflows:
- IT Service Management
- Hardware Asset Management
- Software Asset Management
- Service Mapping
- Customer Service Management
- Human Resources
An ability to collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical expertise in Service Now that meet business needs. Proficiency in using Microsoft development practices, platforms and technologies (i.e. Office 365, Share Point and Azure Dev Ops). Demonstrated experience in monitoring system health and proactively addressing any issues to minimise downtime. Well-developed communication skills, including the ability to distil technical information in plain English to communicate with influence.
- Submission format for consideration: Everything should be provided in 1 PDF Document which includes a cover page with candidate name, submitting consulting name, availability, security clearance level, upcoming leave (exceeding 1 week), employment history with AEC, and consultant comments (no more than 500 words); a one-page pitch addressing the selection criteria (not exceeding one page); a resume of no more than three pages. Submissions that do not meet these criteria will be deemed non-compliant.
Desirable criteria
- Tertiary qualifications or industry recognised certification in Information Management, Computer Science, or a relevant discipline.
- Industry recognised Service Now certification, such as Service Now Certified Administrator (CSA), Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist ITSM (CIS-ITSM) or Service Now Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- Demonstrated knowledge of IT frameworks, such as ITIL and TOGAF.
- Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale ICT transformation projects/programs, preferably in a Commonwealth Government setting.
