We are seeking an experienced Lease Administrator to join our fast paced Town Centres Lease Management team to be based from either our Sydney or Brisbane office on a 12 month contract.
**The Opportunity - About the Role**
As a valued member of our high performing Lease Management team, you will play a key role in providing high-level administrative support. In this role, you will be a critical interface between the team and key stakeholders within and external to the business.
You will be tasked with ensuring that the preparation, execution and administration of our leases and associated documentation, including bank guarantees and certificates of currency are carried out in compliance with relevant legislation, internal policies and service level KPIs. Paramount to the role will be the ability to build and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.
**Key Responsibilities, including but not limited to**:
- the preparation of offer documentation for lease renewals and new leases
- Assist in the procuring internal approvals
- the preparation of disclosure documentation in accordance with legislative requirements
- Monitoring progress of documentation and milestone management/tracking
- Ensure lease-related requirements e,g, bank guarantees and certificates of currency are received and are in acceptable form
- Identify and assess risks associated with the business activities within Lease Management
- Working collaboratively with the Leasing Executives and Contract Specialists in the management of the end-to-end lease management function
- Liaising with external and internal stakeholders such as tenants, the legal team, the broader Leasing team, design and delivery, centre management etc to ensure a smooth transaction.
**About You**
- Previous experience in a retail lease administration role or administration manager role with an institutional landlord or large retailer will be highly regarded.
- Client service focus, with an ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Ability to work unsupervised, prioritise and meet deadlines in a fast paced and changing environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
