Our efficient back-of-house support ensures more resources can be focused on Council’s front-line service delivery.The RoleWe are seeking an experienced and motivated Accounts Receivable Team Leader to oversee all aspects of billing, receipting, accounts receivable, debt recovery, and banking systems. In this key role, you will ensure adherence to Council’s financial policies, managing billing and collection processes, employing effective debt recovery strategies, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation. You will provide specialist advice and guidance to the team and customers, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and quality service delivery.You will lead a high-performing team, setting clear performance standards and goals, while fostering a customer-focused environment. Your leadership will extend to managing accounts receivable services, including sundry accounts and legal recovery of outstanding rates and charges. Collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will ensure efficient service delivery and contribute to the development of structured training programs across various Council locations.
