The opportunity
In this role, you will provide support within our Migration Support program. You will collaborate to ensure our programs provide dignity and respect, are responsive to identity, culture and diversity, and are informed by the lived experience of vulnerable migrants. Your responsibilities will include coordinating, supervising, training and supporting volunteers and assist with projects.
What you will bring
Fluency in Farsi/Dari and English
An understanding of issues affecting people impacted by migration
Experience in working with people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds
Experience in coordinating, managing, training and supporting volunteers
Sound project coordination experience
Excellent general office administration and records management skills
Sound verbal and written communication skills
Highly developed organisational and time management skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, such as outlook, word and excel

This role is covered by the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Award - Level 3. Hourly rate from $ casual loading + superannuation + salary packaging.
