Location - Canberra, ACT Australian Citizens with NV1 Clearance Length of Contract: 19 months The role closes on 17th December 2025 Responsibilities: Execute complex communications technical and maintenance assurance activities in line with agreed priorities, milestones, and outcomes. Exercise assigned technical authorities and ensured compliance with technical regulatory requirements. Develop, review, and assess technical packages, reports, and product performance against requirements. Apply technical knowledge to identify risks and uncertainties, implement corrective actions, and support continuous improvement in communications systems and processes. Build and sustain positive relationships with internal Defence stakeholders, external industry partners, and suppliers to influence outcomes and ensure effective collaboration. Support workforce development through mentoring, technical guidance, and effective knowledge management. Ensure safety aspects of Defence capability are considered and incorporated into all technical activities. Manage technical knowledge of relevant processes, packages, products, and equipment.
