About Our Mackay Site Services Team
Based in Mackay, our Site Services Team delivers specialist Tiling and Condition Monitoring services across more than 20 mine sites throughout the Bowen Basin. With strong demand from our clients, we are actively broadening our service offering to provide a more comprehensive range of plant and equipment support.

The Opportunity
HMA Wear Solutions is seeking an experienced and motivated Supervisor to lead our QLD team, based out of our Mackay office. This leadership position reports directly to the QLD Site Service Branch Manager and plays a critical role in supporting site crews whilst working closely with the sales team to drive continued growth of our Wear Solutions business across the QLD region.
As the Site Services Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Tiling and Maintenance team across the Bowen Basin and surrounding QLD areas. Your key focus will be on:
· Fostering a high-performing, team-driven culture
· Ensuring strong safety standards are maintained and continuously improved.
· Ensuring that the Work conducted aligns with the OEM and customer requirements
· Reviewing and discussing options with the sales team and end user
· Leading and supporting business growth and operational excellence

Key Responsibilities
· Lead and support the QLD Site Services Team working across process plants and mine sites.
· Drive safety-first culture and ensure compliance with all relevant mine site and company standards.
· Work closely with the sales team and our clients to grow market share and customer relationships.
· Implement strong planning, communication, and operational processes.
· Provide technical guidance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
· Build strong relationships with customers, internal teams, and key stakeholders.

We are Looking For
· Proven experience in site service (Tiling and Mechanical skills highly desirable).
· A strong commitment to safe work practices, with the ability to meet all mine site compliance requirements (including Coal Board Medical).
· Solid technical knowledge of coal preparation plants or mechanical equipment.
· Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to create and interpret technical reports.
· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead teams and engage effectively with customers.
· Strong time management, initiative, and problem-solving capabilities.
· Willingness to work on site at client locations across the Bowen Basin and other QLD regions as required.
· Mechanical trade, engineering qualifications, or other relevant technical background (highly regarded).
· Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
