Responsibilities
* Deliver high‐quality, learner‐centred teaching using effective and innovative practices that enhance student engagement, success, and overall learning experiences.
* Apply industry, clinical and/or research insights to enrich curriculum content, learning resources, and real‐world relevance for students.
* Support curriculum design and review at the unit level, contributing to research-informed teaching across multiple levels and modes of delivery.
* Foster collaborative, supportive learning environments by facilitating group learning, providing academic mentoring, and offering timely, constructive feedback on assessments.
* Contribute to educational excellence and scholarship by engaging in pedagogical research, maintaining professional and industry links, and participating in community and University engagement activities.
To Be Successful, You'll Have
* Postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline, or an equivalent combination of qualifications and experience, with recent tertiary‐level teaching experience and a strong understanding of adult learning needs.
* Demonstrated capacity and passion for high‐quality teaching, including the ability to engage students, deliver inclusive learning experiences, and provide timely, constructive academic support and feedback.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within course teams, contribute to a positive and collegial environment, and build strong professional relationships.
* Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, supported by recent or current clinical experience in general nursing and the ability to integrate industry insights into teaching.
* Growth‐oriented, emotionally intelligent and adaptable, with the capability to navigate complexity, plan and prioritise work effectively, and contribute to scholarly teaching, community engagement, and professional development requirements.
