We are pleased to invite applications for the position of Supervisor Structures /Composites AME Level 4 to join our UH-60M Black Hawk team based in Oakey.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supervisors are authorised by the Quality Manager (QM) (or delegate), and are directly accountable to the Responsible Manager (RM) for the duties and responsibilities they undertake.
Key responsibilities include:
Carry out the duties and responsibilities of a Supervisor and Certifying Staff in accordance with the requirements of the referenced OIP.
Support the Responsible Manager (RM) by ensuring that all tasks and responsibilities carried out within the unit, under the MO, are done so in accordance with the requirements of the 16 Avn Bde MOE
Perform Aircraft Battle Damage Repair (ABDR) assessment and repair when authorised.
Manage explosive ordnance appropriately.
Recording of Standard and Non-Standard Repair.
Repair Reports for submission to the relevant Continuing Airworthiness Management Support Organisations (CAM-SOs).
About you:
To be successful in your role you will demonstrate the following:
Tertiary qualifications (Certificate IV or above) in a relevant discipline (Aeroskills - Avionics, Mechanical, Structures etc.) from a recognised institution
Qualifications and Experience that enable a Military Aircraft Maintenance License (MAML) to be held.
Skills, knowledge and experience (SKE) of an AME 3
Substantial Knowledge and understanding of the requirements of at least one of the following regulatory frameworks: DASA, DCMA.
Ideally you will demonstrate relevant experience (to be assessed for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) within 6 months of commencement) (highly desirable)
Special Requirements:
Applicants are required to be able to obtain and maintain Australian Defence Force security clearance.
